Charles Hammer of the Charles Hammer Automotive Group (pictured right with LGH Foundation President Silvana Orrino) is a proud supporter of LGH Foundation events. He has kindly supplied our first-prize Ferrari for the 2010 Duck Race.
The Annual Lakeshore Hospital Foundation Duck Race takes place in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue each June. This is an event for the entire West Island community - in the past, the event raised over $70,000 for the hospital yearly. Duck tickets are sold through a variety of approaches (duck "dealers", services clubs, and a "duck" phone). The ducks, with corresponding numbers for each ticket, are launched into the lock; the first ducks to cross the finish line determine the winners.
